Dr David Rice

Senior Lecturer, School of Clinical Sciences, ​Auckland University of Technology,  Auckland, NZ 

David is Associate Head of Research in the School of Clinical Sciences and a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Physiotherapy at AUT where he teaches at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in areas related to pain, biomechanics and exercise rehabilitation. David also has a position in the Chronic Pain Service at North Shore Hospital in Auckland and is a former executive committee member of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy New Zealand. David's research focuses on the effects of pain on movement, exercise induced pain relief and the neurophysiological mechanisms and management of chronic pain conditions including osteoarthritis and chronic post-surgical pain.
